hi guys and thanks for your visit, im joe one of the team over at dbf, i thought i would give this introduction for grooming, because i have an english mastiff and two toy poodles and they all need different grooming, so i can shed a bit of light on your situation. i used to try and groom,bath and cut my dogs but quickly realised there is not enough hours in the day, so i called on the professionals. Anyway its so important to keep your dog looking healthy through regular grooming i.e brushing,as it not only makes them feel great,it also helps strengthen the bond between you and your dog. Regular grooming is essential to keep your dogs coat healthy and clean,as it stimulates the skin,allowing natural oils to help keep their coat looking shiny. It also helps prevent hairballs and enables you to keep a close eye on any skin irritations or signs of fleas. It is recommended that long haired dogs are groomed 3 to 4 times a week and less for short haired as they do not require as much maintenance. A visit to the groomers is a must, especially for those breeds that need a seasonal trim,
